Konaseema Naidu Gari Nethi Putharekulu — Home Made Food Products

Putharekulu begins with patience. Rice is soaked overnight, ground to a thin batter, and lifted off an inverted clay pot as a sheet finer than paper. That sheet — the reku — is brushed with pure ghee, filled with powdered jaggery or sugar, and folded by hand.
Our family has made it this way in Eethakota for over four decades, first for weddings and temple offerings in the village, then for families across Andhra Pradesh who wanted the real thing rather than a machine-pressed imitation.
Alongside the paper sweets, our kitchen makes the everyday food of Konaseema homes: kaja and laddu, chekkalu and janthikalu, karam podis pounded to order, sun-dried vadiyalu, and the non-veg pickles our region is quietly famous for.
We do not use preservatives, colours or vanaspati. Everything is prepared after your order is confirmed, sealed the same day, and couriered from Opposite Veeranarayana Rice Mill, Highway Road, Eethakota, Konaseema, Andhra Pradesh.
